What a School (Part 2)

    "Where is she?" Plum asked to Strawberry "I don't know. Maybe we should ask    Splinter, maybe she'll know were Orange went. And maybe this isn't the first time she's gone." Strawberry suggested. They found Splinter in the Theater Room watching some videos. "Excuse us Splinter, have you seen Orange? She's gone suddenly." they asked "Oh! It's 5.55 already? In that case, she's in the woods." Splinter replied "The woods?!" her friends exclaimed "Yeah, there's some woods not far from here. That’s where she never misses." Splinter explain.

   When Plum and Strawberry went to the giant backyard. The backyard had a swimming pool, a barbeque area and a horse stall. In front of the stall, they saw footprints. They followed the prints until the saw a Shire horse in front of them.

   "Whoa! Look where you’re going Bella. Oh, hello guys. What are you doing here?" Orange asked as she threw a bag full of three apples. It landed right in front of her horse.

"Where were you and where did you get those apples?" Strawberry asked "Woods. I need them for my store." Orange explained "Cool. Hey, can you spare some. I think I'm going to make some apple snacks for my shop, Fabsome Sweets & Treats." Strawberry asked again. A few minutes later, Orange's mom said it's time for dinner.

   They were having mash potatoes and steak. "Thanks for the food!" Plum and Strawberry thanked "Your welcome." Mrs. Wood replied. Everyone at well. "Wow! This mash potato is really tasty." Plum said with her mouth full of mash potato. After dinner, Orange and her friends went to her room to play some games. They played checkers, chess, My Money, and Monopoly. "Orange, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but this games are a bit...well... Lame." Strawberry replied.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

   "Okay, so what do you want to play?" Orange asked "How 'bout... Truth or Dare!" Strawberry suggested "Yes!!!" Plum exclaimed "Okay. You guys go first." Orange replied "Okay. Plum, truth or dare?" Strawberry asked Plum with giant grin. Plum tapped her chin in deep thought. "Truth!" Plum answered "Okay. Who do you rather kiss, Deadly Doodle dude or Hunk Finn?" Strawberry asked "Hunk Finn. DUH!! He's such a hunk." Plum gushed. Then Plum and Strawberry giggled non-stop.

"Okay, your turn Strawberry. Truth or dare?" Plum asked through her giggles "Truth! Bring it!" Strawberry exclaimed "Do you have a crush on someone?" Plum asked "Yes. Eric Charming, son of Dexter Charming and cousin of Alan Charming. Son of Mr. Dexter Charming's brother, Daring Charming." Strawberry gushed "I have a crush on Alan Charming. I didn't know they were cousins." Plum exclaimed.

   "Okay. Now, Orange... It's your turn! Truth or dare?" Strawberry said with the case of the giggles "Maybe.... You guys were asking truth, so I think I'll pick..... Dare." Orange replied "Okay, then. We challenge you to shoot arrows like on Monday." Plum challenged "Okay. Follow me." Orange said "Why?" Strawberry asked "To do the dare, of course." Orange replied.

They walked upstairs and Orange had to talk to her mother and sister. After that, they went to the backyard. Orange unlock the horse stall and took her family's horses. "Guys, you do know how to ride a horse, right?" Orange asked to her friends. They nodded. Orange handed a horse to Strawberry and Plum.

   "Strawberry, you'll be riding Emily, she's my sister's horse and she's a Paint Horse. Plum, you’re riding Elinor, my mother's horse and she's an Arab Horse. So, what are you waiting for? Hop on." Orange explained and climbed on to her horse. They rode the horses to the woods. "When are you going to do the dare?" Strawberry asked as they reached the woods "Well, hold on to your horses! Because I'm about to do it!! HIYAA!!!" Orange exclaimed and all of the horses ran with her.

"WHOOAA!!!" her friends screamed in surprise. Orange took an arrow a shoot a target hanging from a tree, then another, and another, and another. After Orange shoot at ten targets five times, they went home. When they reached Orange's room, they went fast asleep. The next day, Orange woke up first. So Orange decided to make breakfast for them. She made waffles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot caramel tea, warm milk, and orange juice. A few minutes later, everyone woke up and had breakfast. Then orange went to the basement. Her friends followed her. They were surprised to see her with a bag filled with nuts and fruits.

   "Orange, what are you doing? You just had breakfast." Strawberry asked "I have had breakfast, but they haven't." Orange answered "Who's 'they', Orange?" Plum asked. Orange opened a door that lead them into a large room. Her friends exclaimed when they saw birds everywhere! All sorts of colors. "Wow! You have a lot of birds. Wow! Those with the blue, pink, and green head is really pretty!" Strawberry exclaimed "I like the one with a bit of red on the tail." Plum said.

   "I have twenty-six types of birds here. Strawberry, those are Princess Parrots and Plum, that's a Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo. I have friends and cousins all over the world. And some of my friends’ parents are scientists. The raise all sorts of animals." Orange explained "My friend, Alison, raises a lot of birds. But she had too many parrots, macaws, and cockatoos. So she gave me a few when I was twelve. I love them all, but my favorite are the Blue Spix's Macaws." Orange replied.

After she feed all of the birds, Orange showed her friend another room, outside of the Bird’s Room. The other room was a bit smaller than the bird room and on the door was a sign that said ‘Blue Macaws’. "Here is where I keep my Blue Spix's Macaws. Their rare birds and very beautiful." Orange said to her friends.

   When her friends entered the room, the birds inside the room flew over their heads. "I have five Macaws. Two males, three females. The father is named Blu, the mother is Jewel, and their children is Carla, Bia, and Tiago. Blu is really funny, Jewel is very beautiful, Carla is full of energy, Bia is really smart, and Tiago is so… Hungry!" Orange giggled.

   "Guys, breakfast is here. I’ve got Brazil Nuts and berries for Jewel, a pancake for Bia and Carla, and a waffle for Blu and Tiago. Carla, here is the CD that you wanted. Bia, the Amazon Wild Life Pop-up book you wanted. And Tiago, these are the goggles that you need so you can do that dive you’ve been working on." Orange said "Orange, we want to know how you’re family can make this bird rooms and can the even use those things." Strawberry replied.

   Orange told her friends how it happened. "So we moved into this house, but we saw they accidentally made three guest rooms and two of the rooms aren’t even finished. So we decided to make it into bird rooms. My birds are smart. We made them a bird bath for them. And the toilet pipe, we gave it a rubber ring on the edge and enclosed it with a wooden box, so the bird can use it for their toilet. So we don’t need to clean their bird houses." Orange explained.

   "I even made them beds in their houses. Bia is my favorite Blue Spix’s Macaw and bird here." Orange said while stroking Bia’s soft feathers. "Now I can tell you about their things. I once left them in my room while I went to the market. When I came back, I saw Bia flipping the pages of my little book that I wrote about them. She had re-wrote some things. Carla was holding a CD in her beak with a tissue so she won’t scratch it and she inserted in to my CD player and pressed the buttons so she can watch it. Tiago was wearing my swimming goggles while trying to do a dive." Orange explained.

They brought the three young Blue Spix’s Macaws to Orange’s room. They took a shower, put on their swimsuits, and went to the backyard, with the birds flying beside them. Orange brought some lemonade and pie to the backyard, since it was a hot day. Beside the pool was another pool. The pool was too small, so Orange family uses it for the Bird’s Bird Bath Pool. Orange, Strawberry, and Plum swam and played in the pool until it was noon. They drank the lemonade and ate the pie Orange brought.

   After ten more minutes of playing in the pool, they went back to Orange’s bedroom, rinse themselves with warm water, put on some clothes, and sat in the room. Orange remembered something and ran upstairs. The sound of the front door opening and closing caused her friends to run after her. When they reached upstairs, Orange was already gone. They gave up looking for her, and went to Strawberry’s candy shop to get some snacks. "Orange so weird sometimes." they muttered to each other while eating the snacks.

Then a fourteen year old girl came into the shop with a box filled with apples and another box filled with fabric, silk, buttons, pins, needless, and thread. That girl was Orange! She remembered that Strawberry and Plum asked for supplies at her shop, so Orange went to her store and get the things they ordered. "Okay, a box of thirty-five apples for Strawberry and a box of sewing material for Plum. That is twenty dollars and ten cents. Thirteen dollars and three cents from Plum, seven dollars and seven cents from Strawberry." Orange said seriously.

   "Orange… Can’t we get it for free? We are your BFFs." Plum begged "You think getting these things is easy? NO! And you expect me to give it to you for free just because you my friends?" Orange asked highly annoyed "You know how long it took me to make the cloth and silk? Two months! Two months!! And the other stuff was really expensive, you know! The apples in the forest are delicious, but some of them were eaten or rotten! It was hard to find fresh apples this many. So pay or you won’t get the stuff!" Orange exclaimed obviously getting mad. After paying, her friends continued to chat, but they avoid eye contact with Orange. Orange went back to her store and started knitting a sweater. She got a few costumers that bought different things. "I can’t believe they thought just because they are my friends they think I’ll give those things for free." Orange muttered to herself.

The next week, Orange already forgiven her friends. She was surprised to see there were new students. They saw the hallway was crowed and they started to sing an unusual song. "Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah… Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah… Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah…." they sang. "We heard you want to get together… We heard you want to rock the school… We’ve got a something that is better… Something that changes all the rules… Why pretend we’re all the same? When some of us shines brighter (Shines brighter)… Here’s a chance to find your flame… Are you a loser or a fighter?"

   “Me and you, you and me… Why don’t we see who is better… We don’t have to be one in the same thing… Oh, what’s so wrong of a little competition? Are you afraid of failing the audition? You’re a star and you should know it… Yeah, you rise above the rest… It doesn’t who you hurt… If you prove it you’re the best… Ah, ah, ah… Battle! You want to win it! Let’s have a battle! Battle of the bands! Let’s have a battle! We’ll go on in it… Let’s have a battle, battle, battle… Battle of the bands! Battle! Battle! Battle!”

   “Me and you, you and me… Why don’t we see who is better… We don’t have to be one in the same thing… Oh, what’s so wrong of a little competition? I’m growing up and wining the audition! Battle! We want to win it! Let’s have a battle! Battle of the bands! Let’s have a battle! We’ll go on in it! Let’s have a battle, battle, battle… Battle of the bands!”
